David M. Carroll Archive: Table of Contents

 INTRODUCTION

I present here an essential catalog of my archive, my life’s work as artist, naturalist, and writer. The following pages are designed to put forth, in commentary and images, my creative and naturalist/scientist work in twenty eight categories, detailing the contents of the archival material I am seeking to sell.

I offer a core collection representative of the three arenas listed above; subsets of the core material; and individual objects for consideration. In the case of single works this refers primarily to drawings, paintings, and hand bound books of my art.

Possibilities for acquisitions are explained on the various pages. I also invite discussion, questions, queries, et. al. regarding any work or collections of material with any source who might want to consider a purchase.

Many pages treat a measure of the history and nature of the subject within the context of my life’s work as a whole. Larger categories, such as my five published books, include an outline of their content.

In a real sense, this account of my archive presents a history of my life and work in my three fields of engagement. It is a book of many books, in writing and art that I hope viewers will enjoy visiting.

I look forward to a number of additional postings, genres such as my botanical art, in the future, and invite viewers to looking on this posting from time to time.

I am deeply grateful and indebted to Wild Goose Web Design, for this splendid realization of what my archive is all about.

And I much appreciate viewers’ time and consideration. Many thanks, David
